Seek immediate medical attention if you have serious symptoms. Always call before visiting your doctor or health facility.

On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to show, however it can take up to 14 days
Are there long-term effects of COVID-19?
Many people who got COVID-19, even mild cases, develop symptoms that linger like fatigue; respiratory and neurological symptoms as well.
The WHO is working with our Global Clinical Management of COVID-19 Technical Network; researchers and patient groups globally, to conduct studies of patients after the initial acute illness course for more understanding of who are the patients who have long-term effects and how long they last, why this occurs. This work will inform further guidance on the management of patients.
